Administration vs Management

What are the key differences between management and administration? Explain each of them in detail.

Management is very close to leadership because it moves/influence people and their work in order to reach goals settled by the organization by delegating functions. It works for any organizational level. Its decisions are influenced by intern goals and policies, so it mainly has control over business or any profit-making organization. Its style can be changed easily.

Administration is a process of controlling the management of an organization. Its demands the assurance of primary policies and objectives. This is a high ranked function controlled by a common belief specially over government or national sectors like schools or hospitals. This is slower to change.

 

Which is better, management or administration? Explain.

Even if they both are complementary to each other and have similar goals, I think management is a little bit better than administration due to it works mostly with middle and lower levels functions which are the soul of every organization, so if they are focused on their task and complete them following the stablished requirements, the organization will work properly and it will be easier for the upper levels to manage it. Another reason why I think it is a bit better than administration is because of its applicability to profit-making organizations so everything should be perfect because there is no place to make mistakes due to the monetary consequences they represent.

I can see that we have almost the same anserws untill the personal idea of which is better, I agree with half of your opinion where you say that administration and management complement eachother but you think that one is more iportant than the other one and I think that both are equally important as they need eah other in order to run the company correclty
