Legal factors affecting business
DEFINE IN DETAIL.
What is
Organizational Law? This
law is the one that determines how organizations should operate. It involves
laws and regulations on taxation, employment, contract, securities,
immigration, etc. All of the above depending on the way the business is legally
formed.
What does
Employment Law refer to? This
refers to the legal concerns that affect employees like wages, benefits, hours
and work, contracts, etc. All of them approved by government and obligatory in
every organization in the same way. Some of the main issues treated by these
laws are discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and wrongful
termination.
How are
Consumer laws defined? These
laws ensure and protect consumers from brands that do not meet the requirements
or benefits they claim to do. This involves tactics like fake publicity, hidden
defects, identity theft or unauthorized charges and fraud.
What is
Securities Law? A security
is an interest in something valuable that are bought and sold. These laws
regulate securities trading, including the registration of securities and
brokers, the prohibition of fraud and deceit, and the right to bring a lawsuit
against those suspected of violating the law.
What does
Health and Safety at the Workplace refer to? This refers to job conditions and environment within
companies. Its goal is to make sure every worker is safe in his position to
reduce accidents as much as possible. It also guaranties access to medical
attention if it is needed.
What is
Taxation? Is a political
way to regulate commercial exchange of some products in order to benefit
national production. This is done by settling like a “fine” that importers have
to pay to get their products inside the country, so this increases its cost
making those products more expensive, so people will prefer the national ones.
I like how you define every concept, it is very clear and also easy to understand. I see that you included a few examples about everyone and that's important. Great job!
ReplyDeletei agree with your ideas, good job! about the safety at work, I think there should be better conditions for workers in addition to the laws
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for sharing, I have read your answers and I have some comments....
ReplyDeleteI liked how you explained the first definition about "Organizational Law", I had not considered the "immigration", that completes much more to this law, I should add it to my post.
What was the law that most caught your attention?, in my case, it was the consumer law, because in the future I would like to specialize in International Marketing, but for that I need to know in depth all the legal and social aspects to practice properly, I think this law is great and of course it takes care of the good practices of companies and the products and services they offer, also you have given the main objectives in a simple way.
Very good work, very synthesized and easy to read!
The way in which you summarized the topic and explained it is clear, in addition to explaining in detail each law and its importance. It seems to me a very complete work and after reading your document many more aspects were clearer to me.
ReplyDeleteHi Fer! after reading your work in the part of "Health and Safety at the Workplace " I really iked your definition and laso, I think that we must all know about this in order to avoid accidents during shift time and that would not be dangeours for anyone, but sadly sometimes companies doesn´t have that which is really bad, we should take care of that, and also your definition is almost the same as mine "The term Health and Safety is generally used to describe Occupational Health and Safety and relates to the prevention of accidents and ill health to employees and those who may be affected by their work."
